Nespresso x Trashmanship | Upcycling Story

Commercial Portrait | Sustainability & Design

The Project

Produced for Nespresso, this film tells the story of Nina, interior architect and founder of the startup Trashmanship. Her mission? To reinvent sustainable design by transforming recycled materials into high-end furniture. The campaign focuses on her creative process, specifically how she repurposed Nespresso’s seasonal boutique window displays in Switzerland into elegant partitions and stylish cabinetry.

The Vision

The goal was to move beyond a simple corporate report to create a poetic "Artisan Portrait." I wanted to highlight the circularity of the process—where discarded materials become treasures. The film balances the raw, industrial energy of the workshop with the refined, sophisticated result of the finished furniture. It’s a story of audacity, craftsmanship, and a greener future for luxury retail.

The Craft:

Tactile Storytelling: A focus on materials, hands-on labor, and the transformation of objects.

Modern Aesthetic: Using a warm, cinematic light to bridge the gap between "recycled" and "high-end."

Brand Synergy: Aligning the innovative spirit of a startup with the premium identity of Nespresso.

Production: Produced by Imaginastudio.
